USE
Aromatherapy properties:
- provides energy and joy;
- lime has energetically "cleansing" properties, provides a sense of emotional comfort, therefore it is very popular for diffusing in rooms;
- when used in massage blends, it helps create a peaceful atmosphere.
Perfumery properties:
- lime scent is very fresh, light, sour-sharp, as characteristic of this fruit. Unlike lemon, lime scent is greener, less sweet;
- blends perfectly with other citrus oils - lemon, orange or grapefruit essential oils;
- in perfumes, it is mostly used as a top note that can fantastically stimulate and awaken the sense of smell from the very first inhalation, providing freshness to sweet perfumes;
- although the lime note fades quite quickly (like most top notes), it leaves an indelible impression and a feeling of elation from the very first breath.
SAFETY!
Must be diluted. Phototoxic. Cold-pressed lime essential oil safe maximum concentration on skin (e.g. in perfumes) - 0.7%.
For pregnant women: Effects have not been fully studied, therefore we recommend consulting a doctor aromatherapist before use.
For children: Can be safely used for children from 5 years of age. At an earlier age, it can be safely diffused in rooms.
The main rule of aromatherapy – less is more, i.e. essential oils work better in small doses.
