A top-quality peach note for professional perfumery. Aldehyde C14 (chemically – Gamma Undecalactone) is one of the most frequently used materials in a perfumer’s palette. Although traditionally called “peach aldehyde,” this substance is not an aldehyde but a lactone, with fruity and creamy olfactory nuances.

Aromatic profile:
• Bright, juicy, sweet peach
• Reminiscent of iced peach tea
• Very intense, rich, and extremely long-lasting
(about 17 hours on skin at a 10% dilution)

Use:
• Insoluble in water
• Soluble in alcohol and oils
• Recommended to dilute before use (e.g., to 10% in alcohol)
• Effective at very low concentrations – even 0.1% can significantly change a composition

Applications in perfumery:
• For peach and fruity compositions
• For gardenia, tuberose, and lilac accords
• Widely used in flavor/fragrance creation as well

⚠️ Highly concentrated material: too large an amount can “overpower” the fragrance.
