Roses have fascinated and inspired humanity for thousands of years. The rose is associated with the concept of love and belongs to the category of intoxicating aromas. Rose is one of the chemically and aromatically most complex flower oils, containing over 500 different molecules, which is why simply by smelling rose oil, you can easily recognize whether it is a synthetic imitation or a genuine, magnificent and noble rose aroma.

Throughout history, roses of all colors and sizes have been used for their extraordinary scent and beauty, to promote feelings of happiness, satisfaction, and open-heartedness. Interestingly, rose essential oils and absolutes are among those with the greatest chemical complexity. Of the more than 400 chemical constituents of Rosa damascena, many, albeit in small amounts, contribute to creating the superb and finely nuanced fragrance we know as rose. To produce 1 kilogram of Bulgarian rose absolute, about 650 kilograms of fresh rose petals are required.

Rose oil is popular not only in perfumery but also in cosmetics – rose is known as a constant companion for mature skin.

Rose essential oil is particularly feminine, sensual, and emotion-balancing. It helps to reveal femininity, increases self-confidence, is valuable in emotional disorders related to sexuality, helps reduce stress, anxiety, and improves mood.

Rose essential oil works excellently on all skin types, but is especially valuable for dry, sensitive, and mature skin: it moisturizes, tones the skin, reduces cheek redness, and evens out skin tone.

Also, Damask rose preparations are used in Ayurveda, traditional Indian medicine, to alleviate various complaints.

Perfumery properties:

• Bulgarian rose absolute has a sweet, deep, soft, antique rose aroma with a faint spicy and honey nuance and a fresh green note;
• Bulgarian rose absolutes, possessing an amazing hypnotic scent, are among the most sought-after in perfumery;
• In his book "Perfume and Flavor Materials of Natural Origin," Arctander notes that "Bulgarian rose absolute is so widely used in high-class perfumes that it is hardly possible to define its field of application."

5% rose absolute is already diluted with jojoba oil, so do not hesitate to use it in your natural oil-based perfume blends, especially together with jasmine, sandalwood, and ylang ylang.

DO NOT DIFFUSE 5% ROSE ABSOLUTE IN ELECTRIC DIFFUSERS!

Dilution is mandatory. (Recommended concentration for facial cosmetics - 1.5%, for body massage - 3%)

For pregnant women: not recommended during pregnancy, but can be used starting 2 weeks before delivery.

For children: safe for use with infants and children.
