Botanical Name: Jasminum grandiflorum

The following jasmine species are used in perfumery: Motia (Arabian jasmine) (Jasminum sambac) and Royal (large-flowered) jasmine (Jasminum grandiflorum). Their properties and scents differ.

In India, it is believed that jasmine balances masculine and feminine energies, helps emotions to blossom, and instills confidence in one’s inner wisdom and creativity.

You can use Royal Jasmine attar as a natural botanical perfume. You can apply the attar directly to the skin, or mix it with plant oils to make the scent less intense.
