Bourbon geranium essential oil has a sweeter aroma compared to Egyptian geranium essential oil. Its dark green colour distinguishes it from Egyptian geraniums, which can range from straw yellow to golden. Good quality Bourbon-type geraniums are known for their intense floral and rose notes.

USAGE

Aromatherapeutic properties:

• reduces stress, anxiety, improves mood;
• used during periods of female hormonal imbalance, especially PMS and menopause;
• repels insects;
• when used at home - eliminates unpleasant odours, freshens spaces.

Perfumery properties:

• Bourbon geranium essential oil is essential for creating luxurious rose accords, works excellently in compositions with green top notes, blends particularly well with clove and perfectly complements fruity compositions.

SAFETY

Must be diluted. Maximum concentration for use on the skin 17.5%

For pregnant women: effects have not been fully studied, therefore we recommend consulting a doctor-aromatherapist before use.

For children: safe for use in children from 5 years of age, at an earlier age it can be diffused in the room with a diffuser.

The golden rule of aromatherapy – less is more, i.e. essential oils work better in small doses.
