USE

Cosmetic properties:

• suitable for use to improve skin firmness, as well as in mature skin care.

Aromatherapy properties:

• Tones and stimulates;

• provides a sense of peace in cases of nervous fatigue or stress;

• used for steaming in electric essential oil diffusers, for inhalations;

• used in aromatherapy baths, especially favored in massages.

Perfumery properties:

• excellent fixative;

• adds a fresh, citrusy-spicy, frankincense-like aroma to fragrances.

SAFETY!

Elemi may contain methyleugenol, therefore the maximum concentration on the skin is 6.7%.

Limonene, the main component of citrus peel oils, is present in Elemi oleoresin from 23% to 80%. Due to temperature fluctuations, it is recommended to store this oil in a cool, dark, tightly sealed bottle to avoid oxidation, as oxidized oils may increase skin sensitivity.

The main rule of aromatherapy – less is more, i.e. essential oils work better in small doses.
