Carrot phytol, organic, 30ml

Carrot oil (phytol) – an extract of dried carrot roots in cold-pressed sunflower oil. It is amber or orange-brown in color, with a sweet wood and earth aroma.

PROPERTIES:

Carrot oil contains high amounts of beta-carotene, vitamins B, C, A, E, D, F, and fatty acids.

Carrot oil promotes an even skin tan, giving the skin a soft and healthy bronze shade. Apply the oil to the face and body before or after sunbathing or using a tanning bed. It also soothes sunburned skin. Due to the carotenoids in the oil, with daily use, the skin will acquire a bronze tone even without sunbathing.

Carrot oil is especially recommended for dry and damaged skin.

Carrot oil is also used for hair care, as it reduces split ends, moisturizes hair and scalp, and gives hair shine.

USE: Carrot oil is an excellent ingredient for making face creams, body balms, and hair masks. Use up to 20% carrot oil in blends. Pure oil may temporarily color the skin yellow, but the color fades once the oil is absorbed. We recommend waiting until the oil is absorbed into the skin to avoid staining light-colored clothing.
